Civil Rights & Nondiscrimination Policy
Faith House Church is committed to full compliance with all applicable federal civil rights laws and regulations. Faith House Church does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic in its programs, services, activities, or employment practices, consistent with 40 C.F.R. Parts 5 and 7 and other applicable federal nondiscrimination requirements. Faith House Church provides equal access to its environmental education and community programs and will provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities and meaningful access to individuals with limited English proficiency upon request. Any person who believes they have been subjected to discrimination in a program or activity conducted by Faith House Church may file a complaint with the organization’s designated Civil Rights Coordinator. Grievance procedures are available upon request and are publicly posted on this website.

Grievance Procedure
Any individual who believes they have been subjected to discrimination in a program or activity conducted by Faith House Church may file a written complaint within 180 days of the alleged incident. Complaints should include the complainant’s contact information, a description of the alleged discriminatory action, and the date(s) of the incident. Complaints should be submitted to the Civil Rights Coordinator listed above.
Faith House Church will acknowledge receipt of the complaint within 10 business days and conduct a prompt and impartial review. A written response will be issued within 30 days of receipt, unless additional time is necessary due to the complexity of the matter. Faith House Church prohibits retaliation against any individual who files a complaint or participates in an investigation.
Individuals may also file complaints directly with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Civil Rights.
